The meeting emphasized that the production enterprise is the first person responsible for product quality and safety, and should do a good job in risk prevention in the whole chain of product development and design, production and manufacturing, test verification, operation monitoring, use maintenance, etc., and earnestly implement product quality accident reporting and defect recall and other statutory obligations, continuously improve the level of product safety, and resolutely curb the occurrence of new energy vehicle safety accidents. In the next step, China's electric vehicle management department will speed up the revision and improvement of relevant mandatory national standards, guide industry companies to accelerate the research and development of high-efficiency battery system thermal management, multi-level safety protection and other technologies, strengthen the vehicle operation safety monitoring system, and organize the investigation of potential safety hazards and defect investigation, strictly investigate and deal with violations, create a good atmosphere for industrial development, and promote the steady improvement of the overall safety level of the industry.
